Why am I not seeing a live video? I only see the message from previous weeks?
A: You need to have access to Flash to view the livestreamed service. If you are trying to view on an iPad or iPhone, the livestreamed service on Sundays will not play for you because those devices do not support Flash technology. However, Hope’s media player supports all devices and you can watch any sermon on Hope Online.

What does it mean if my video is frozen and the screen says it’s “buffering”?
A: “Buffering” simply means that the video (or the file data) is loading, similar to software not launching until it’s been installed on your computer. “Buffering” will usually resolve itself in a few seconds. You can reload or refresh your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), and the video should pick up. Your screen may “freeze” if you have a slow Internet connection or your bandwidth is supporting multiple devices.

I don’t have an iPad or an iPhone, and my screen still isn’t showing the video – what’s up with that?
A: You may need to refresh or reload your Web browser. If that doesn’t work, you might need to reboot your computer if you have not done so in a while.

Who can I call about technical difficulties?
A: If you believe your Internet provider or your computer/device is having difficulties, please contact your service provider or technical support line.

What time does the livestream start?
Hope’s broadcast of the Sunday 11:00 am worship service begins about 10 minutes before the official start of service and runs through the entirety of the service: call to worship, Bible reading, offering, message and/or communion. If you cannot view the livestreamed service, the sermon replay is available on the media player on this site on most Sunday evenings. You are also welcome to check on Sunday evenings for the sermon podcasts.
